Discover cemetery superstitions, symbolism and a few eerie local tales of graveyard ghosts and grave robbing alongside historic figures from Smiths Falls’ past.

This is not a tour of ghosts and goblins jumping out and scaring guests but a beautiful candlelit atmosphere as visitors stroll through the oldest section of the Hillcrest Cemetery. Guides will remind you of traditional cemetery etiquette and superstitions alongside spooky and quirky tales from days gone by. Let the atmosphere and the mystery of this cemetery captivate you.

Pre-registration is required.

In the annual Perth Ghost Walk near Halloween, tour guide and historian Susan Code McDougall will tell some eerie tales of Perth’s past and outline the buildings where ghost sightings have been reported.

Perth Ghost Walk starts and ends at Perth Museum. Each tour starts at 7 p.m. and lasts about an hour and a half. There are four dates to choose from, but don't wait - the tours always sell out!

It's the sixth annual CC's Outdoor Market! The event will be held Saturday October 25 at CC's on the Rideau (1030 Rideau Ferry Road) from 10am-3pm. $2 ENTRY (kids 12 and under free) with door proceeds going to the Lanark County Interval House.

We have 25+ local vendors confirmed, hailing from Rideau Ferry to Perth to Smiths Falls to Kemptville and beyond. Items that our vendors are offering range from beautiful ornaments and decorations, handmade jewelry and crafts, locally sourced and cut charcuterie boards and other wood items, homemade soaps and candles, paintings and art, baked goods - of course, and lots lots more. Check out our Facebook page and this event page for daily showcases of the vendors that will be attending.

The amazingly talented and local artist Tom Watson will also be providing live music from 12-2pm while you shop! Be sure to enjoy some food from our outdoor grill and sip on some beverages from our full-service bar while taking advantage of this opportunity to get your holiday shopping done a little early this year! What better way to celebrate this beautiful time of year in our area and support local!

8th Annual Thanksgiving Market & Autumn Festival in the country hosted by Pickle & Myrrh and Heritage Stable!

Come join us for a beautiful fall day along the banks of the Rideau River at our lovely red barn just outside of the charming village of Merrickville.

Over 100+ local vendors will have handmade art, pottery, clothing, crafts and tasty treats for everyone to enjoy! Artisan bread, pies, caramels, preserves, maple syrup and flowers to adorn your Thanksgiving tables, and maybe even some fall decor with local pumpkins, cornstalks and straw bales.
