What to Pack:

Pack your regular clothes you’ll want to wear, but be sure to focus on comfort. You’ll likely spend a fair amount of time outdoors and/or lounging, so keep that in mind.

Weather can be unpredictable, so bring some gear that will keep you comfortable if the weather shifts (rain gear in rainy seasons, snow gear in snowy seasons).

In the winter, you may appreciate warm pyjamas and your slippers (we have some you can borrow, too).

If you plan to cook during your stay, most of that happens oudoors, so plan accordingly for your comfort as you cook on the bbq (or its side burner) or over the fire.

Flip-flops or slides (or clogs) are nice for using the hot tub.

There are many great restaurants in the area, so may just need to bring a few snacks and beverages to tie you over between delicious meals. And, of course, you can always put an order in for some freshly baked sourdough or bagels!

Plan Your Stay

You’ve booked your stay, and now it’s time to figure out how you’ll spend your time in Westport.

There’s always something to do around here, whether it be farmer’s markets and beach outings in the summer, hiking in the fall, snowshoeing in the winter, or shopping in the spring.

Be sure to check out our Off-Site Activities page to see if anything sparks your interest. Choose a few key restaurants to visit, and then fill in the gaps with pure relaxation around the campfire, in the hot tub, and walking the trail. If you could use a little extra help with relaxation, check out the available treatments provided by Jacquie, an energy healer, and one of your hosts.

Browse our On-Site Experiences page to learn more about what’s available here (hiking, hot tubbing, skating, reiki, breathwork, yoga, baked goods, …)

Solar Power

We try our best to be good stewards of the land here at Star Haven Glamping, so when it came time to select an energy source, solar was the natural choice.

To get things off the ground, we decided to start with an Anker Solix

Using a Composting Toilet

It’s easy.
